Sales Stand Exhibition Diary
I attend a number of model railway exhibitions and 0 gauge shows each year with my sales stand. These are an ideal opportunity for customers to have a good look through kits that they have an interest in for potential future projects. This can help the customer to evaluate the quality of the kit and its suitability.
I have on display a selection of finished models that I have built from my kits and again having a look at these is useful in evaluating the potential of the kit and it is also reassuring to know that the bloke selling you the bits can actually put them together.
If when you visit the stand it appears crowded don't be put off for fear of interrupting important business. The chances are that it is only a four or five way conversation going on between regular customers. Just elbow your way through and join in because 0 gauge modellers are a friendly group.
