PROTOTYPE. This class of 3 locomotives was built by the NER as class H2 in 1897 for light shunting work. They also worked passenger trains on the North Sunderland and Cawood light railways. All three were sold to industrial users. KIT. The main body and chassis components are etched in brass and the fit of all parts is very good. This is a straightforward and uncomplicated loco to build. Its small size and attractive price make it ideal for a minimum space shunting or light railway layout. | ||||||||||||
